Radiology Department  uses imaging technology to diagnose and treat disease. Radiology may be divided into two different areas, diagnostic radiology and interventional radiology. Doctors who specialize in radiology are called radiologists.

A radiologist is a specialist who uses medical imaging techniques in viewing and interpreting X-Ray, MRI, CT, Ultrasound and Angiography, to diagnose and treat human disease or injury.

Diagnostic radiology is a medical specialisation that involves undertaking a range of imaging procedures to obtain images of the inside your body. Doctors who specialize in the interpretation of these images are called “Diagnostic Radiologist”. Using the Diagnostic Images, the radiologist can diagnose the cause of the symptoms. Monitor how well the body respond to treatment for specific disease / condition.
